Locating pins (T10096)

Engine/transmission jack (V.A.G 1383 A)

Installing (T10096)

To secure the subframe, the (T10096) must be installed in positions - 1 -, - 2 -, - 3 - and - 4 -, one after the other.






(T10096) may only be tightened to a maximum of 20 Nm, since otherwise the threads of the locating bolts will be damaged.

Securing Mounting Bracket





- Replace the bolts of the mounting bracket one after the other on both sides using (T10096) and tighten them to 20 Nm.

Subframe, Securing





- Replace the front bolts of the subframe one after the other using (T10096) and tighten to 20 Nm.

Position of front axle is now secured.

Continue with removing stabilizer. Refer to => [ Remove the stabilizer from subframe and ] Stabilizer Bar.

Continue with removing steering gear. Refer to => [ under subframe. ] Steering Gear.

Continue removing the subframe without the steering gear. Refer to => [ steering gear bolts and. ] Subframe without Steering Gear.

Continue removing the subframe with the steering gear. Refer to => [ under the subframe. ] Subframe with Steering Gear.

Removing (T10096)

Removal is performed in the reverse order of installation. Make sure that the (T10096) are replaced one after the other with new bolts.
