Electronic Steering Column Lock Control Module (J764)

The => [ Electronic Steering Column Lock Control Module (J764), Replace ] Component Tests and General Diagnostics procedure must be performed each time before removing the electronic steering column lock control module to read the stored data in the electronic steering column lock control module.

The electronic steering column lock control module and the steering column switch mount are removed and installed together.

Removing

- Disconnect the battery. Refer to => [ Disconnecting ] Disconnecting.

- Remove the steering column switch mount. Refer to:
