Data Bus On Board Diagnostic Interface (J533)

The data bus on board diagnostic interface is installed in the right footwell on the driver side next to the steering column.

Before removing the data bus on board diagnostic interface, the work procedure => [ Data Bus On Board Diagnostic Interface (J533), Replace ] Data Bus On Board Diagnostic Interface (J533), Replace must be performed to read out the codes stored within it.

• Turn off the ignition and all electrical consumers.

• Remove the key.

Removing

- Remove the driver side instrument panel cover. Refer to Storage Compartments, Covers and Trim.

- Release and disconnect the connector - 2 - on the data bus on board diagnostic interface - 1 -.






- Press the pins - arrows - together and remove them from the openings.

- Remove the data bus on board diagnostic interface - 2 -.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal.
