Always follow the instructions regarding disconnecting and connecting the battery. Refer to => [ Battery (A), Disconnecting and Connecting ] Battery (A), Disconnecting and Connecting.

When removing and installing components in visible area (switches, covers, trim, etc.), cover by taping the areas at which a prying tool ( trim removal wedge (VAS 3409) , screwdriver) will be positioned using commercially available adhesive tape.

Removing

- Disconnect the battery. Refer to => [ Disconnecting ] Disconnecting.

- Remove the driver side instrument panel cover. Refer to Storage Compartments, Covers and Trim.

- Remove the screws - 1 - and guide the fuse panel - 2 - downward.






Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

Bolt tightening specification: 1.5 Nm

- Connect the battery. Refer to => [ Connecting ] Connecting.
