Start System Button (E378)

• Turn off the ignition and all electrical consumers.

• Remove the key.

• When removing and installing components in visible area (switches, covers, trim, etc.), cover by taping the areas at which a prying tool ( trim removal wedge (3409) , screwdriver) will be positioned using commercially available adhesive tape.

Removing

- Remove the selector lever boot upward.

- Pry out the trim frame - 1 -.






- Lift the trim frame - 1 - just enough and disconnect the connector from the start system button - 2 -.

- Remove the start system button - 2 - from the trim frame - 1 -.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal.
