Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Ring Spanner 7-Piece Set (3337)

Removing

- Remove the air filter housing and connecting pipe.

- Disconnect the brown connector - 4 - for the heated oxygen sensor 2.






- Free up the heated oxygen sensor wire.

- Remove the heated oxygen sensor 2 (- 2 -).






Installing

- When reusing an oxygen sensor, only grease the threads with hot bolt paste (G 052 112 A3). Do not let the paste enter the slits on the oxygen sensor body.

- Install heated oxygen sensor 2 (- 2 -) into the bank 2 exhaust pipe. Identifying feature: brown connector.

Tightening specification: 50 Nm

- Route the wires again as they originally were.

Further installation is in the reverse order of removal.
