Engine Speed Sensor: Service and Repair

Engine Speed Sensor






Removing

- Remove the noise insulation.

- Remove the bolt - 2 - with a suitable tool and then remove the engine speed sensor - 1 -.

Installing

Install in the reverse order of removal. Note the following:

• Replace the seal

• Lightly coat the seal with clean engine oil

• Bolt - 2 - tightening specification: 8 Nm

• Do not tilt the engine speed sensor - 1 - when installing otherwise it may get damaged.

- Install the noise insulation.
