Variable Induction Control Module: Service and Repair






Throttle Valve Control Module J338

Removing

- Open the clamps - arrows - and remove the connecting pipe - A -.






- Disconnect the connector - 1 - from the throttle valve control module.






- Remove the bolts - arrows - and remove the throttle valve control module.

Installing

Install in the reverse order of removal. Note the following:

- Tightening specifications, refer to => [ Intake Manifold Overview ] Intake Manifold Overview.

- Make sure that the seal is positioned correctly in the intake manifold.

- When replacing the throttle valve control module, adapt the Engine Control Module to the throttle valve control module. Refer to "Guided Functions" in the vehicle diagnostic tester.
