Antenna Control Module: Service and Repair

Antenna Module

The left antenna module (R108) / right antenna module (R109) is located on the left/right C-pillar trim.

• The following illustrations and procedures describe removing and installing the left antenna module.

• Removing and installing the right antenna module is identical.

Removing

Perform the following before starting:

- Turn off the ignition and all electrical consumers and remove the key.

- Remove the C-pillar trim.

- Disconnect the connectors - arrows - from the antenna module.






- Remove the bolt - arrow - (2 Nm).






- Push the antenna module in - direction of arrow -.






This will loosen the hooks on the antenna module and the fastener in the steel clamp.

- Remove the antenna module from the body.






Installing

Install in reverse order of removal.
