Starter Overview

Always follow the instructions in the Repair Information exactly when disconnecting and connecting the battery. Refer to => [ Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting ] Service and Repair.

1 - Starter

• Checking, refer to => [ Starter (B), Checking ] Testing and Inspection.

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Starter ] Service and Repair.

2 - Connection B+ Wire To Starter

3 - Mounting Nut B+ Wire To Starter

• 20 Nm

• M8

4 - Starter Bolts

• 80 Nm

• M12

5 - Cap

6 - Wiring Bracket Nut

• 23 Nm

• M8

7 - Wiring Bracket

• Bolt, air filter housing to body - 10 Nm
