Comfort System Central Control Module (J393)

• Adapt the new comfort system central control module with the data set provided and deactivate the production/transport mode.

• Replacing Comfort System Central Control Module, refer to => [ Comfort System Central Control Module (J393), Replacing ] Comfort System Central Control Module (J393), Replacing.

• Deactivate production mode. Refer to=> [ Comfort System Central Control Module (J393), Deactivate Production Mode ] Comfort System Central Control Module (J393), Deactivate Production Mode.

Removal

- Turn off the ignition and all electric consumers and remove the key.

- Remove the knee airbag and its mount.

- Open both retainers - arrows - and remove the Comfort system central control module - 1 - downward. Pay attention to the wires still connected.






- Disconnect all the connectors - arrows - and remove the comfort system central control module - 1 -.






Installation

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

- Make sure the comfort system central control module is secure in its mount when installing it.
