Battery Data, Adapting

The battery data of the new battery must be entered into the data bus on board diagnostic interface control module after installing a new battery.

- Connect the vehicle diagnostic tester. Refer to=> [ Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information Systems ] Testing and Inspection.

- In the vehicle diagnostic tester, select "guided fault finding".

- Using the "Go to" button, select the "function/component selection" and the following menu options in sequence:

• Body

• Electrical Equipment

• 01 - On Board Diagnostic (OBD) capable systems

• 19 - Data bus on board diagnostic interface

• 19 - Data bus on board diagnostic interface functions

• 19 - Adapt battery data
