Removal

1. Remove distributor cap and dust cover.
2. Rotate crankshaft in direction of rotation until rotor points towards mark in distributor body.
3. Disconnect distributor wiring.
4. Remove distributor hold-down and the distributor.

Installation

1. Position rotor approximately 60 degrees clockwise of mark in distributor body.
2. Install distributor. Ensure rotor points towards mark in distributor body.
3. Install hold-down bolt, but do not tighten.
4. Connect distributor wiring, then install distributor cap and dust cover.
5. Check ignition timing and correct as necessary. Refer to ``Inline 4 Cylinder Engine Tune Up'' for procedure.
