To verify the identification (year, model, market designation etc.) of a vehicle, use the vehicle designation plate or vehicle identification number. For location see Fig. 1.

Fig. 2 VEHICLE IDENTIFICATION PLATE:

The vehicle designation plate will inform you for what market the vehicle was intended and what V.I.N.# was used. Fig. 2.

Fig. 3 DECODING OF V.I.N NUMBER:

The vehicle identification number can be decoded as shown in Fig. 3.
