Altitude Compensating Adjustment

The following adjustments must be made, if the vehicles primary operating range is above 1,219 meters (4,000 feet):

1. Check and adjust idle speed and CO content at operating altitude (if possible).
2. Permanently remove black wire from micro switch (full throttle enrichment). Switch is located in front of engine by the throttle pulley and cable.
3. Apply altitude modification decal (VOLVO part #1313496-0) to firewall.
