THIS BULLETIN APPLIES TO THE U.S. AND CANADA.









Before replacing an air mass meter, the following fault tracing should be performed. In most cases, the problem is related to wiring and connectors. Wiring diagrams are attached.



PREPARE FOR TESTING

- Disconnect the battery ground cable

- Remove right side kick panel

- Remove connector from control unit (caution should be taken when removing and replacing the connector to prevent damaging the connector housing, as well as the individual connectors).

Removing Protective Cover:

- Remove connector cover
- Reinstall the connector to the control unit.



- Peel back rubber cover from air mass meter connector.

- Reconnect the battery
