THIS SERVICE MANAGER BULLETIN IS APPLICABLE TO BOTH THE U.S. AND CANADA.
In the event that difficult cold starting with B230F non-turbo engines in 1985 and early 1986 models is experienced at extremely cold ambient temperatures (below 0~F -18~C), information on how to rectify this condition is outlined in Service Bulletin Gr. 23 No. 123 of November, 1985. It is extremely important that the new LH-control unit, P/N 5003607-8, listed in the above mentioned Service Bulletin is installed. This control unit has been developed to improve the startability at very low temperatures.
Warranty procedures for this operation is outlined in Service Manager Bulletin Gr. 23 No. 11 of December, 1985.
