If a defect is found in the HALL switch, the following repair guidelines must be observed.



1. INTERMEDIATE SHAFT DRIVEN DISTRIBUTORS

Within the first year of warranty, the complete distributor must be replaced.

After the first warranty year, the HALL switch should be replaced separately. Refer to Service Manual, Ignition Systems, TP 30432/1 for repair instructions, and Service Bulletin Group 34 No. 28 dated, April, 1985


2. CAMSHAFT DRIVEN DISTRIBUTORS

The HALL switch cannot be replaced. The distributor should be replaced as a complete unit.
