Connect test light between electrical connector terminals 1 and 8,

With engine off and throttle at idle position. Test light should be off. If not, refer to ``System Service'' under ``Microswitch, Adjust.''

Depress accelerator pedal, test light should be off. If not, adjust microswitch.
