A. Inspection of Fuses, Ground Connections and Connectors

A1 Check Ground Connections





- Check ground connections on inlet manifold. Make sure wires are correctly connected and not loose.
Poor connections can cause many fault symptoms.

A2 Check Fuses





- Check fuses for pump relay and tank pump.
Pump relay fuse: In-line fuse (2) in engine compartment.
Tank pump fuse: Fuse No. 4 in fusebox.

A3 Check Connectors





- Check connectors for air mass meter, air control valve, knock sensor and coolant temperature sensor.
Make sure connectors are correctly connected and not loose.





- Make sure that knock sensor and coolant temperature sensor connectors are not interchanged.
Knock sensor wires are green.(1)
Coolant temperature sensor wires are yellow. (2)
