Operation CHARM: Car repair manuals for everyone.

Reimbursement

CAMPAIGN REIMBURSEMENT

As in previous campaigns, a "repair code" has been established for this specific repair. The repair code will automatically reimburse dealers for labor at the repairing dealer's current warranty labor rate, plus parts at dealer net, plus the appropriate handling allowance. Dealers are not required to enter total labor allowance or individual part numbers onto the Vehicle Campaign Notice for reimbursement. All labor times include 0.1 hour administrative allowance.

COMPLETE THE VEHICLE CAMPAIGN NOTICE AS FOLLOWS:

The Vehicle Identification Number, Selling Dealer Code, Campaign Number, Owner Name and Address, and Claim Number are imprinted prior to mailing to the owner.

Servicing dealers must complete the following items:

1. Servicing Dealer Code
2. Repair Code B
3. Repair Date and Repair Order Number

Should you utilize a blank form, all information normally preprinted must be supplied by the servicing dealer.

Refer to illustration of Vehicle Campaign Notices below (U.S. and Canadian versions):
Only one (1) repair code may be listed for this campaign. Both the owner's and an authorized dealer signature must appear on the campaign notice.

CAMPAIGN RESPONSIBILITY

Dealers are to inspect/repair all vehicles within the recall range regardless of mileage or vehicle age. The repair covered under Recall 50 is free of charge to the owner. In the event that an owner has lost or misplaced the original campaign notice, he/she is not to be refused this important modification. For this purpose, a small supply of blank Vehicle Campaign Notices are available from your Volvo District Office. Your Regional Service Manager will followup to ensure that this campaign is proceeding smoothly.
