Manual Transmission/Transaxle: Testing and Inspection

NOTE: Fitted only to certain cars.





1. Disconnect the propeller shaft from the coupling flange. Use tool P/N 5244.
2. Check the damper:
- Resistance should be felt when the coupling flange is turned clockwise by hand.
- It should be easier to turn the coupling flange anti-clockwise.
3. Connect the propeller shaft.
