Control Assembly: Service and Repair

Heater control panel/fan motor switch, replacement (CU-heater)

Disconnect battery (-)




Remove
- soundproofing and side panels from both sides of center console
- radio, as applicable
- center control panel, move to one side
- front panel. Pull as far forward as possible.




Remove
- protective plate above vacuum hoses (1)
- fan switch (2)
- illumination panel (3)
- control panel clips (4).

Note: 1981-: protective plate is not removeable.

Mark-up and disconnect hoses from control panel




Install
- vacuum hoses on control panel
- panel (1) and clips (2)
- illumination panel (3)
- fan switch (4)
- protective plate (5).




Install
- front panel
- center control panel
- radio
- side panels and soundproofing.

Reconnect battery
