FA. Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) 1-4-2 DI EZ 116 K

* 1-4-2 Control module fault

DTC Conditions:

The control module checks that its internal signals are correct, If this is not the case code 1-4-2 is logged.





Causes Of Fault:

Control module fault.

Fault symptoms:

Normally no fault symptoms.

Checking The Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC),

-Delete the DTC in accordance with:

C. Fault tracing via the DLC.




-Start the engine and run it for a short while.

-Switch off the engine.





-Switch on the ignition

-Check the to see if the DTC has recurred in accordance with

C. Fault tracing via the DLC.

If the DTC recurs

-Try using a new control module.
