DI#20 No control module GND

Fault Message Conditions.

A fault message is recorded if voltage is above 1.2 V.

Fault causes





Break between DI#20 and the grounding point on the intake manifold.

Poor GND point connection.

Fault symptoms

The engine will not start.

If the fault is intermittent the engine will stop or run rough.

UE1

Volvo ST, Test Box

-Disconnect the ST in accordance with QA2. Connecting The Volvo Scan Tool (ST)




-Connect the test box to the ICM and check the ground points.

-Continue with Checking GND point UE2.

UE2

Checking GND point.




If the value Is OK when the GND point has been checked intermittent fault.

-Check the GND point and its connections for loose contacts.
