Altered location of ABS control module

From M/Y 1992, the ABS control module and transient surge protector have been mounted on the floor panel under the right front seat.

The following items must be removed to gain access to the control module: right front seat, A-post lower trim panel and sill moulding. Fold back front and rear carpets and remove floor panel.





The module is mounted by two screws, as illustrated. To remove the module, slacken the rear screw, remove the front screw and pull the module (and transient surge protector) forward.

When reinstalling the module, tighten screws to 10 N-m (7.5 ft.lb.).
