A. Connection of test equipment

Special tools: 9813190, 9813193, 9813194

Important!
The Motronic 1.8 ECM supply must be isolated by removing fuse 24 when connecting or disconnecting the break-out box, otherwise the module may be damaged.

Expose AW 30-43/AW 30-40 TCM as per Transmission Control Module. Service and Repair

Connect box to wiring connector

For AW TCM: use adapter 9813194
For Motronic 1.8 ECM: use adapter 9813193
Press adapter firmly into connector.

Connect control module to adapter
(measurement with system in service)

Connect adapter and break-out box connectors.
