Checking Control Module Connector





- Ignition off.
- Disconnect switch.
- Check control module connector for contact resistance and oxidation as per HA6. Contact Resistance and Oxidation [HA6]

- Connect control module.
- Ignition on.

Connect a voltmeter between switch connector terminals 1 and 5.

Voltmeter should read approx. 1.5 V under battery voltage.

If reading is OK:
- Fault was due to poor contact in control module connector.

If reading is incorrect:
- Check lead between switch connector terminal 1 and control module #25 for open circuit as per HA2. Open Circuit [HA2]
