Boost Solenoid: Service and Repair

TURBOCHARGER CONTROL VALVE REPLACEMENT

Preparations
^ Remove / disconnect:
- Intake hose.
- Turbo Charger (TC) control valve connector.





Remove valve
^ Remove / disconnect:
- Hose clip from fresh air hose at Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor.
- Hose from MAF sensor.
- Hose (with blue marking) from fresh air hose.
- Move aside fresh air hose.
- Press valve out of rubber mounting.
- Hoses (three) from valve.





Installation
^ Install / reconnect:
- Hoses (three) to valve in accordance with color markings.
- New valve in rubber mounting.
- Hose (with blue marking) to fresh air hose.
- Fresh air hose to MAF sensor.
- Valve connector.
- Intake hose.

NOTE: Ensure that fresh air hose is not rubbing against TC control valve hoses.
