Electronic Brake Control Module: Service and Repair

Preparations [ND1]
- Ignition off.

Removal [ND2]





- Clean connector.
- Remove connector.
- Remove the three bolts and lift control
- module carefully out of car.

Installation [ND3]





- Install control module and tighten bolts to 5 Nm (4 ft.lb).
- Install connector.

Operational checks [ND4]





- Read off any DTCs posted in control module and erase them.
- Quit DTM by switching off ignition.





- Test-drive car and check that ABS warning indicator goes out.
- Read off DTCs and check that code 1-1-1 appears. Quit DTM by switching off ignition.
