Traction Control Switch: Service and Repair

Removal:





NOTE: Image shows heated rear window switch, but the procedure is the same for this switch.

- Ignition off.
- Carefully insert an insulated screwdriver or plastic lever between panel and top of toggle switch.
- Now bend out carefully until you can get your fingers around the contact.
- Remove contact.

CAUTION: Insert a spacer to prevent damaging surrounding panel.

- Undo connector.

Installation:
- Connect connection
Check that toggle switch works before installing it in the panel.
- Reinstall toggle switch, pressing firmly into panel.
