Drain fuel system pressure. See: SYSTEM DIAGNOSIS / DRAINAGE OF FUEL SYSTEM.
Fuel Filter Removal:
Removal of Fuel Filter ^
Undo quick-release couplings from fuel filter.

Use 17 mm open spanner to push back sleeves.
^
Undo screw securing filter clip.
^
Replace filter.
^
Reassemble in reverse order.
