Air Injection Check Valve: Testing and Inspection
Check Valve Inlet Hose^ Squeeze inlet hose.
^ If hose is hard or brittle, check valve is probably bad.
^ Replace hose and check valve.
Check Valve Back Pressure
^ START engine.
^ Disconnect check valve inlet hose.
^ If exhaust pressure is felt at check valve, valve is bad.
