Air Injection Pump Relay: Testing and Inspection

Air Pump and Relay:

Check relay power and ground
- Raise car and remove front splash guard.
- Disconnect both outer relay connectors.
- Connect both blue wires together to operate pump.
- If pump operates, power supply and pump ground are OK.

Relay Ground:

Check relay operation
- Reconnect blue wires to relay.
- Disconnect center relay wire.
- Use a jumper and briefly connect center relay terminal to ground.
- If pump operates, relay is OK. If not, replace relay and recheck.
