Distributor: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Remove distributor cap, then turn engine until rotor arm is aligned with timing mark on distributor housing.
2. Mark housing position in direction to cylinder block.
3. Loosen attaching bolts, then remove distributor.

INSTALLATION
1. Turn rotor arm to position approximately 30° after mark.
2. Mount distributor in position, ensuring drive gears engage.
3. Ensure rotor arm and housing are aligned with appropriate marks.
