Input Device Test - Diagnostic Test Mode 2

Test Mode 2:

ACTIVATION
CONTROL FUNCTION 2 is activated by two brief operations of test button A, causing the LED to flash rapidly.

When light begins to flash, operate each component as indicated and observe acknowledgement codes.

ACKNOWLEDGMENT CODES
CONTROL FUNCTION 2 acknowledges the operation of the following inputs:
^ 3-3-2 -- Throttle switch moved from idle to part throttle position.
^ 3-3-3 -- Throttle switch moved from idle to full-load position.
^ 1-2-4 -- Start inhibitor switch when gear selector is moved from drive to park or neutral.
^ 1-4-1 -- Timing pick-up, when starter motor is cranking.
^ 1-1-4 -- Electronic Climate Control (ECC) control panel when A/C button is depressed or released.
^ 1-3-4 -- ECC relay/compressor clutch when A/C is switched on.
