Engine Control Module: Service and Repair

ENGINE CONTROL MODULE REPLACEMENT





When Changing Engine Control Module, Remember to:
^ Check Engine Control Module (ECM) and connector for damage to pins or sleeves. Faults could be caused by this.

ECM Is Located Behind Driver's Side Kick Panel:





Removal of ECM
^ Ignition OFF.
^ Disconnect fuse 24.
^ Remove sound insulation and left front valance.
^ Remove ECM.

Installation of New ECM
^ Check ECM and connectors for damage to pins and sleeves.
^ Fit new ECM.
^ Replace sound insulation and left front valance.
^ Replace fuse.
