REMOVE:





Existing car jack. The jack is located inside the spare wheel under the trunk floor in sedans or under the cargo area in wagons.

INSTALL:





- Place the new jack p/n 9170141-7 and attach it to the spare wheel.

- Insert the lug through the center of the wheel, and hook through one of the wheel bolt holes.

- Tighten the nut until the jack is securely fastened.

- Pass the spare wheel strap through the car jack fastening nut and tighten.

DESTRUCTION OF OLD JACK





To prevent re-use of the old jack it must be destroyed. Insert the old jack in a vice as shown. Cut the threaded shaft of the jack with a hack saw or other suitable tool. Hold for DMPS inspection before disposing.
