Service Security Setting

(4-door cars only)




The trunk central locking module is equipped with a Service security setting in which the central locking module is not activated by the central locking system. The trunk lock can then only be activated by the master key or the wallet key.

The service security setting activates the central locking motor but the central locking motor's control rod is disengaged from the central locking module's locking mechanism so it does not activate the locking mechanism.

Service security setting locking:

Turn the key approx. 90 ° clockwise.
Withdraw the key horizontally.

Service security setting unlocking:

Turn the key about 120 ° clockwise (1), the key will automatically return to the vertical position (2).
Withdraw the key vertically.
