C17 Checking Operating Switch Signal Cables

- Switch off ignition.




- Lock driver's door.




- Connect an ohmmeter between pos. 31 and pos. 86 on the relay base terminal.
The ohmmeter should show approx 0 Ohms.




- Connect an ohmmeter between pos. 31 and pos. 85A on relay base terminal.
Ohmmeter should indicate infinite resistance.



- Unlock driver's door.




- Connect an ohmmeter between pos. 31 and pos. 86 on the relay base terminal
Ohmmeter should indicate infinite resistance.




- Connect an ohmmeter between pos. 31 and pos. 85A on relay base terminal.
The ohmmeter should show approx 0 Ohms.

If all readings are OK:
- Continue to C21. C21 Checking Interior Lighting Ground Cable

If reading is incorrect:
- Continue to C18. C18 Checking Driver's Door Operating Switch
