Ambient Temperature Sensor / Switch HVAC: Service and Repair

Outside Temperature Sensor





1. Undo battery negative cable.
2. Remove windscreen wiper well.
3. Remove outside temperature sensor:
- The outside temperature sensor is located on a bracket by the A/C system air intake.
- Undo outside temperature sensor from bracket.
- Pull it straight out as shown in the Image. It is held in place by a spring snap-on mounting.
4. Remove connection:
- Undo connection from outside temperature sensor.
- Hold catches pressed in and pull apart.
5. Install:
- Connector.
- Outside temperature sensor.
- Windscreen wiper well cover.
- Battery negative terminal.
