Brake Switch (Cruise Control): Service and Repair

RF. Stop (brake) Light Switch, Replacement

RF1. Replacement Of Stop (brake) Light Switch

Remove stop light fuse.
Disconnect stop light connector.

Older Stop Light Switch

Unscrew stop light switch with a wrench (17 mm).
Install new stop light switch in reverse order.
Test operation.

New Stop Light Switch

Pull stop light switch straight back.
Install new stop light switch in reverse order.
Test operation.
