Checking Spark Plugs
- Ignition OFF.
- Replace all spark plugs.

NOTE: It is vital that the correct spark plugs are used, see parts catalogue for P/N. Check the spark gap of new plugs before they are fitted. Spark gap should be 0.7 - 0.8 mm (0.028 - 0.032 in).

- Connect ignition coils to spark plugs.
- Try to start the engine.
- Does the engine start?

Yes:
^ The cause of the fault has been defective spark plugs.

No:
^ Proceed to: Checking Mass Air Flow Sensor Signal.
