Front Knock Sensor





Preparations
- Undo connector and cable mounting from mass air flow (MAF) sensor.
- Remove fresh air hose from mass air flow sensor.
- Remove air cleaner (ACL) cover.





Removing Knock Sensors

Remove:
- Knock sensor (KS) connector
- Knock sensor.





Installing Knock Sensor

Install:
- Knock sensor and tighten. Tightening torque 20 Nm (14.8 ft.lb).

NOTE: The front knock sensor should be tightened to five o'clock position.

- Knock sensor connector.
- Install air cleaner cover on air cleaner housing.
- Connect fresh air hose to mass air flow sensor.
- Connect connector and cable mounting to mass air flow sensor.
