Replacing panels

Replacing rear side panel

Removing rear side panel





Remove:
- rear seat Rear seats Rear Seats Sect 8(82-86, 88), C70 exterior equipment 1998-.
- 2 clips from rear edge.
- 2 clips from front edge.
Lift panel up and out from 4 steel clips in upper edge.

Installing rear side panel
Install in reverse order.

Replacing the B panel

Removing B panel




Remove upper screw on seat belt.
Lift B panel from 1 clip, pull upwards and inwards.

Installing B panel
Install in reverse order.
Upper screw on seat belt must be tightened to 48 Nm (29.5 ft.lb) .

Replacing A panel

Removing A panel





Remove:
- cover on courtesy handle.
- 2 screws on courtesy handle.
Push gently on base of handle and at same time pull downwards/towards inside of vehicle.
Remove panel from 4 clips.

Caution! Replace clips with new ones if they break.

Installing A panel
Install in reverse order.

Replacing the C/D panel

Removing C/D panel





Remove:
- B-pillar panel as described in Replacing the B panel.
- 2 screws on courtesy handle.
- 1 connector.
Remove panel from 3 clips.

Caution! Replace clips with new ones if they break.

Installing C/D panel
Install in reverse order.
