Condition
There are no diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) for the convertible system.

Possible source
- Short-circuit to ground or open-circuit in the cable between the convertible control unit and the relay for the rear demist
- Short-circuit to ground or open-circuit in the cable between the convertible control unit and the switch for the rear demist.

Fault symptom[s]
- Rear demist does not operate
- The rear demist is constantly active, the rear demist lamp is lit.

Hint:
- The rear demist cannot be activated when the convertible top is closed
- The rear demist is active for a 12 minute period.
