Checking Ignition Spark From The Ignition Coil
- Ignition off.
- Connect the ignition discharge module (IDM).
- Ignition on.
- Disconnect ignition coil ignition cable from the distributor cap.
- Hold the end of the cable 3 - 5 mm from ground.
- Operate the starter motor and check if there is a spark.
- Is there a spark?

Yes:
^ Proceed to: Checking Rotor, Distributor Cap and Spark Plugs section.

No:
^ Try a new ignition coil/ignition discharge module.
