Trunk/Liftgate Sensor/Switch (For Alarm): Service and Repair

ZZE1. Removing Switch In Trunk Lid Handle (4-door)

Remove:
handle according to Lock, trunk and doors.
switch cover
Switch up and disconnect the cable.
Unsolder the wiring. Note position of wiring.

ZZE2. Installing switch in trunk lid handle (4-door)

Install:
Solder wiring into place.
switch.
switch cover.
Note locating pins holding switch in place. Ensure that the cover is correctly positioned before installing.
