Checking Connectors







- Ignition off
- Corrective action to the passenger compartment temperature sensor and control module connectors for contact resistance and oxidation

Carefully check for any damage etc.
- To remove the control module, refer to Replacing ECC Control module.
- To access the passenger compartment temperature sensor, see Replacing passenger compartment temperature sensor (ECC).
- Reinstall components, reconnect connectors etc.
- Ignition on.
- Read off the temperature in the passenger compartment.

Check that the temperature reading obtained is correct.
Compare with the actual air temperature.

If temperature is now OK this indicates that the fault was caused by poor contact in the connectors.
