Cylinder Head Assembly: Service Precautions

Liquid gasket
The Engine has a liquid gasket (P/N 1 161 059-9 or equivalent) between the cylinder head upper/lower halves.

It is very important that the surfaces are well cleaned and that any oil film is removed, when applying a new gasket.





The gasket is applied with a short hair roller.
